Q: What types of material do you accept?
A: You can find a listing of the most common items we buy by visiting the “What We Buy” tab, or by clicking here. Remember that this list is not all-inclusive so if you do not see an item listed, please contact our buyer directly to find out if we can accept the material and what it is worth.

Q: How does the process work when you scrap a car?
A: Below is the basic process for scrapping a car. Note that there s a $5.00 deduction per tire for any left on the vehicle. Please call your local scrap yard for any additional rules that may apply at that particular yard and for specific questions.
- Remove Personal Belongings
- Remove License Plates
- The car must have the title. If you do not have the title please reach out to the local buyer for assistance before bringing the car.
- The gas tank must be COMPLETELY empty with a hole the size of a fist in it. (This will be checked before you can scrap the vehicle).
- The battery must be removed. (This will be checked before you can scrap the vehicle).
- Please bring a valid driver’s license.
Q: How much is my car worth?
A: We are a scrap metal company and buy all materials including cars based on weight. Therefore, you would need to know exactly what your car weighs in order for you determine how much money you would get for it.
Q: Do you sell materials for projects/blacksmithing/etc.?
A: No. Our permits and licensing require us to process all material and sell directly to steel mills and other end use processors.
Q: Do you pick up material or do I have to drop it off?
A: For large quantities and very heavy items we have metal dumpsters that can be dropped off and filled by the customer for a fee. However, smaller items like a washer, dryer, etc, would need to brought to us.
Q: What is the current price for Copper? For Brass? Etc.?
A: Check out the pricing pages under the “What We Buy” tab for our prices, or click here. If there is a commodity you don’t see, email us, or call the number listed to contact the buyer directly for prices not listed.
Q: Will your yard sponsor our team or charity?
A: We always look for ways to support the communities we operate in and around, and are happy to take a look and see if we can help. Please understand that we are asked daily for sponsorship and can only do so much. Email us here for more information about sponsorship.
